What is positive Attitude?
A positive attitude can be defined as having "a state of positive mind that will be able to repel all the negative influences and taking action in a positive manner". If you have a positive attitude towards everything that you see and do, life will be much easier for you as instead of always seeing problems, you will always see opportunities. Having a positive attitude is the foundation to success in life.

A positive attitude leads to happiness and success and can change your whole life. If you look at the bright side of life, your whole life becomes filled with light.This light affects not only you and the way you look at the world, but also your whole environment and the people around you.

Positive attitude helps to cope more easily with the daily affairs of life.
It brings optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worry and negative thinking. If you adopt it as a way of life, it will bring constructive changes into your life, and makes you happier, brighter and more successful.

There are times in life that it's not always easy to remain positive and keep a happy smile on our face.Its in these difficult times that it's important to search for positives.

  • Smile.The simplest way to demonstrate a positive attitude is to smile.Seeing someone smile makes others smile too.
  • Wake up early.This is one of the best ways to help you maintain a positive attitude. You can prepare for work and start your day without feeling rushed.
  • Exercise Daily. Exercise is useful to combat depression and to improve overall positive mood.
  • Be optimistic and expect the best to happen. 
  • Learn to communicate. Not saying the things we feel can lead to a sense of frustration, hurt, anger or anxiety.
  • Reconnect with old friends.
  • Surround yourself with positive people. By minimizing your interactions with critical people you can put the brakes on being an audience for negativity.
  • Listen to your favourite music
  • Read a great book.
  • Spend Quality time with family.
  • Tell your child a story.
  • Help someone out.
  • Find your spirituality.
  • Meditate.
  • Laugh - Laughter is a powerful mood elevator. If you are feeling down, read some jokes, watch a funny movie or just act "silly" once in awhile. At times, let yourself see through a child's genuine eyes. Simplify.Appreciate the lighter things in life. Learn from your mistakes and laugh at yourself.... often. By focusing on the positive outcomes from a negative situation, you can begin to shift your perspective.
  • Participate in new physical and mental activities to improve confidence levels and coping mechanisms.
  • Find the time to engage in fun activities. It can be a hobby, a new exercise routine or significant other. Changing your routine is the quickest way to lighten your mood.
